AWARD WINNING ARTIST
Born in the Northwest, but have traveled the world with camera in hand, capturing glimpses into other cultures and landscapes. Being able to share those memories with others through my paintings continues to bring me joy.

During my senior year in high school, I joined a small oil painting class. That lit the fire! After that, I would learn and paint whenever life would allow me the time and place. A number of Portland Colleges offered art classes, which added to my experience. Other artists I’ve had the pleasure of painting with and learning from are, Dale Gehrman, Robert Warren, Brian Davis, Lisa Ober, Lyn Diefenbach, Lisa Ober, Susan Kuznitsky, and others.

I work mainly in my home studio with oils and pastels but occasionally dabble with watercolor. Animals and flowers are two subjects I’m especially drawn to, but mixing them up keeps things fresh and interesting.
