Vicki began her artwork over 40 years ago, originally inspired by the beauty of glass. She began with stained glass and after a trip to Italy in 2004 she learned about applying heat to glass via a kiln.

Her artwork begins with a conceptual sketch. Sheet glass is then cut, processed in a kiln at 15,000 F, and then shaped in a kiln as required.

Her art continually evolves and often expresses her interpretation of elements of nature, life experiences, and textiles.

Lately, she has been exploring gradient lines, shadows, and depth which are attained through multiple processes and constant experimentation.
