Watercolors of Historic Camas Town and Sites

After being raised in Michigan and graduating as a civil engineer from the University of Michigan, Tim moved to the Puget Sound area to begin his thirty-eight-year career with the US Navy.  It was during this time that, while being snowed in one day, Tim discovered a beginner’s box of watercolor paints, and his love for watercolors began.  After relocating to Camas in 2008 with his wife Dianne, Tim fell in love with the history and charm of Camas and decided to communicate this passion through watercolors.

Tim considers himself to be a non-verbal storyteller communicating the many iconic and historical sites in Camas which have not previously been captured in art. Tim and Dianne have been blessed in so many ways and have decided to donate all of his art proceedings to a Christian children’s school in West Africa.  Tim is also passionate about helping the homeless and disenfranchised men and women in the Portland area where he has been volunteering for the last thirteen years.
